This page explains, in plain words, how the panofinance.app website and the Pano app handle your data.

In short

• Your data is never used for ads, shared or sold.
• Neither the app nor this site has ads or trackers.
• Pano never connects to your bank or broker and never asks for your bank password.

The Pano app

• Account: you create an account with your email address and a password. We send a six-digit code to confirm your email.
• Data on your computer: your transactions, balances, notes and settings are stored in a data file on your own computer.
• Encrypted backup: so nothing is lost if your computer breaks or data is deleted, a copy of your data is sent to our server regularly and stored encrypted with a key unique to your account. Sign in on a new device and you can continue from that backup.
• Prices: the app goes online to fetch prices, exchange rates and market data. These requests carry symbol names only; quantities and amounts are never sent.
• Deleting your account: when you delete your account, your backups on the server are deleted too.

This website

• It uses no cookies and loads no analytics, ads, outside fonts or scripts.
• The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare briefly processes technical connection data such as your IP address to serve the site and prevent abuse.
• If you email us, we use your address and message only to answer you and to tell you about early access. You can leave the list at any time.
